Best Dosing Invention

The crew at G&B in Los Angeles is not afraid to tackle norms and challenge assumptions.  They’ve invented this dosing tool which looks like a tiny barrel.  They use them to precisely dose the amount of grounds for a particular coffee (yes, they pre-grind their espresso) and then when a customer orders the espresso they place the “barrel” on the portafilter and dump it, tamp it, then brew it.  They claim there is zero quality lost as long as it is used within about 30 minutes or so, and it speeds their process and precision of dosing.
